Evergreen Public Schools’ bond is almost three-quarters of a billion dollars ($695,000,000) and it will take 21 years to retire. There is sparse accountability for where, when and how this money will be used. They continue to demand more and more. “It’s for the kids” is their favorite theme and the emotional hearts and flowers is their lead weapon to get you to the “yes” box. Some schools need work, some roofs replaced and one or two new schools constructed; however, school funding has gone over the top, so will your taxes. Vote “no.”
