Letter: Battle Ground lacks common sense

Battle Ground Public Schools is again asking for a huge amount of money. A big reason is the hundreds of new houses going up. Developers should pay for the needed schools instead of socking existing homeowners with a tax increase we didn’t cause. It’s not fair that we must pay extra for a problem caused by developers.

They say some old schools need to be replaced. A lot of people live in houses older than the schools and no one is replacing them. The school I went to 60 years ago is still being used.

Battle Ground Public Schools needs to use common sense.
