Boys basketball: Evergreen 78, Mountain View 69

Dwight Jones and Jeremy Harju combined for 34 points to lead Evergreen past Mountain View.

The Plainsmen were up three going into the fourth quarter, and pulled away. Harju scored 10 of his 16 points in the final quarter.

Jones had eight of his 18 points in the third.

“We’re learning how to win the right way and kind of grind out the win,” Evergreen coach Brett Henry said.

Mountain View was paced by Philip Earnardt’s 17 points.
