Boys basketball: Seton Catholic 65, King’s Way Christian 64

A big fourth-quarter rally helped the Cougars edge out King’s Way for the 1A Trico League win on the road.

Seton trailed 35-23 at the half, and 55-46 after three quarters. The Cougars then outscored King’s Way 19-9 in the fourth quarter.

Henry Demsky led Seton in scoring with 19 points. He also had five rebounds and four assists. Matthew Kent had 16 points with five rebounds, and Isaiah Parker had 13 points.

Khalfani Cason led King’s Way with 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Kefentse Cason had 12 rebounds, Gage Koenders had 16 points, and Kaden Lucas had 11 points.

Both teams shot an identical 24 of 58 from the floor.
