Girls basketball: Skyview 55, Battle Ground 43

Remingtin Riley had a double-double with a game-high 21 points to go with 10 rebounds and four steals in Skyview’s 4A Greater St. Helens League victory.

Skyview coach Brett Johnson said the Storm went to a man-to-man, full-court defense in the third quarter to hold Battle Ground to eight points after a close first half.

Skyview (7-11, 3-4) had just a two-point lead at the half, and then outscored the Tigers 21-8 in the third.

Nicole Christensen added 11 points for Skyview.

Battle Ground (4-14, 2-4) was led in scoring by Megan Geiger’s 13 points and Morgan Stradley’s 12 points.
