Vancouver – PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center will be the Health Partner for Vancouver’s inaugural AppleTree marathon, half-marathon, and 5K Sept. 15 and 16.

PeaceHealth will have volunteers on hand to offer helpful health and nutrition information, along with water at designated stations. The 5K will occur at sunset on Sept. 15 with the half- and full marathons at 7 a.m. Sept. 16.

Walkers may participate in any of the three events.

The marathon’s theme is “Run Through History,” and will send participants through historic Fort Vancouver and the Army Barracks, Officers Row, Pearson Field, past the Northwest’s oldest living apple tree, and along the Columbia River.
