Letter: Support Long for Congress

By Claire Pang, Longview
Published: July 4, 2018, 6:00am

The 3rd Congressional District needs a change. I believe that Carolyn Long is the change we need. I have been to three of her town hall meetings, and she is the real deal. She listens, answers questions thoughtfully, and is willing to admit it when she doesn’t have an immediate answer. She will do research and have an answer at her next town hall meeting. She’s genuine, smart, and engaged. Congress is broken. Long will collaborate and work across the aisle to get things done.

See for yourself at one of her frequent town hall meetings.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
