Letter: Protect Moulton Falls Trail

By Virginia Nugent, Vancouver
Published: July 6, 2018, 6:00am

I am protesting the Michigan Trotter Timber Sale adjacent to the Moulton Falls Trail near Yacolt. I am not opposed to logging as it provides funds for education and jobs for many of our rural communities. However, this serene, cool, shaded trail with its green canopy overhead, is like walking in an outdoor cathedral and must be preserved. The 80-year-old Douglas fir trees, on the south side, stand tall and magnificent, guarding this beautiful sanctuary. We must not allow these trees to be logged. Join the protest now: https://preserve-our-trail.com.
