Clark County Fair Association names 2018 scholarship winners

Ridgefield — The Clark County Fair Association named the 2018 scholarship recipients, who qualify for the scholarships by being actively involved in 4-H, Future Farmers of America or Open Class during previous Clark County fairs. The scholarship money is earmarked to help the recipient pay for college tuition, books and other costs. The 2018 scholarship recipients were: Cody Ballard of La Center High School; Everett Buck of CAM Academy; Nicole Christensen of Skyview High School; Miranda Dowler of La Center High School; Maddie Geil of La Center High School; Bridgette McCarthy of Washougal High School; Melanie Moore of Columbia River High School; Sean Murray of La Center High School; Lindsey Paul of Woodland High School; Randi Richards of Ridgefield High School; Paige Rinta of Prairie High School; Samantha Schmidt of Columbia Adventist Academy; Kaitlin Sipes of Columbia River High School; Alivia Stone, who’s home-schooled; Madison Thompson of Battle Ground High School; Alexa Valdez of Vancouver School of Arts and Academics; and Alexandria Weeks of Battle Ground High School.
