Letter: See clearly, don’t vote Republican

By Andrew Bomber, Vancouver

The signs popping up around Clark County suggesting “It would be bold to vote Republican” are wrong. It would be blind to vote Republican. It would be blind to what has happened since President Donald Trump has taken office and blind to the Republican Party that is enabling him. It would be blind to the destruction of health care. It would be blind to the destruction of the environment. It would be blind to the stripping away of human decency and the rise of hate.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
