If you have strong concerns about sea lions, Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, is your girl. If you care about any other issues — health care, the national debt, net neutrality — she’s got nothing for you. In her years in Congress, she has accomplished little, does not bother to have town halls with us, and, in my experience, does not even bother to respond to emails with legitimate concerns. We deserve responsive representation. If she can’t bother, let’s find someone who can. And one thing is clear: she does not bother.
