Letter: Reject amoral lout

The entire U.S. intelligence community concludes that Russia’s Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff hacked the Democratic National Committee, and spread misinformation and disinformation. Undoubtedly that swayed votes toward President Trump. This man-boy has had meetings with lying, murdering thieves: Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He foul-mouthed our closest allies at the Canadian summit, the NATO conference, and by attacking British Prime Minister Theresa May, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

He dismissed Russian interference in our election by believing Putin’s sincere disavowal. He decries collusion, yet is the embodiment of collusion and “fake news.” Now he tip-toes along the border of treason.

Media bashing was done by another leader (also elected by a minority, in 1933). He outlawed the press; instituted a disinformation campaign via Joseph Goebbels, famed for: “A lie told once remains a lie, but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth.” Trump is a liar, amoral lout, misogynist and racist.

Our congresswoman said to The Columbian’s Editorial Board last spring, when asked if she’d vote for Trump, in 2020: “I think so. I don’t know.” ‘Nuf said for me.
