YAKIMA — A 17-year-old central Washington high school student police say took videos up girls’ skirts is facing five felony voyeurism charges.

The Yakima Herald reports that the student at Davis High School in Yakima appeared in juvenile court on Friday where bail was set at $10,000. He was being held in juvenile detention with a court appearance scheduled for Monday.

Police say a girl told her boyfriend on Wednesday that another boy took video up her skirt.

A short time later the suspect told authorities he’d been assaulted and his phone stolen. The boyfriend turned the phone over to police

Police say the phone contains 600 videos, but they’ve only viewed several dozen. Police say most of the videos are of girls at desks or in hallways.
