Police: Two injured in crash after car experiences mechanical issue

Two people suffered minor injuries Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Vancouver after one of the vehicles experienced a mechanical issue, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

The mechanical issue caused a Kia Rio traveling south on Northeast 138th Avenue, approaching Northeast 18th Street, to spin out and strike a Toyota 4 Runner that was driving west on 18th Street and turning south on 138th Avenue at about 7:20 p.m.,
