Orchards — Guests at the Silver Star Elementary School Family Art Show were treated to some snacks courtesy of Washington State University Extension’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education.

Marty Fields, a nutrition educator with the program, was on hand to give out fruit kabobs.

She also educated the roughly 200 families in attendance on how to access local berries at Clark County farmers markets with their SNAP EBT cards.
