Meals on Wheels People’s annual luncheon Tuesday at the Hilton Vancouver Washington raised $125,000. That’s enough to provide 17,000 meals to seniors in Clark County.

More than 350 people gathered for the luncheon, where Diane Nelson talked about her experience delivering meals, said a news release from the nonprofit. Judy Scott, who’s delivered meals for more than 12 years, got the Compassion for Seniors Award.

Meals on Wheels People serves Multnomah and Washington counties in Oregon, along with Clark County. Visit mowp.org for more information.
