Letter: Herrera Beutler earns support

I applaud Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, on her fight for hardworking Southwest Washingtonians. She has stood by her promise to cut taxes for her constituents and it’s paying off. An average family that’s living paycheck to paycheck is finally noticing visible increases in their take-home pay, which gives them the ability to contribute more money to their savings and retirement plans.

As a result of the tax cuts, local job creators are empowered to employ more workers because they are experiencing a long-awaited relief from the tax burden that small businesses have experienced over the last several years. This is great news for job seekers, including recent college graduates who are trying to enter the workforce.

Herrera Beutler has held her promise to fight for Southwest Washington and will earn my support in the November election.
