Camas-based semiconductor manufacturer WaferTech will host a hiring event March 21, it said in a press release. The event will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at 1421 S.E. Tech Center Drive, Vancouver.

In the press release, WaferTech advised hopeful employees they should have one year of work history or six months of experience while attending school. Workers must be able to work a 12-hour shift and should have basic computer skills. The jobs pay between $14.57 and $16.54, based on the shift.

Prospective employees should also arrive to the event dressed like they would for a job interview and have copies of their resumes.
