Looking for a change-up to the regular St. Patrick’s Day celebrations? Look no further than St. Patrick’s Day Music and a Movie, which features live performances from Cynthia and Nathaniel Soohoo, a duo that will play Irish tunes on the keyboard and fiddle. That will be followed by tunes from bagpipers and drummers of the Fort Vancouver Pipe Band. “The Quiet Man” will be screened at 7 p.m. March 17 at the Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main St., Vancouver; $10. 360-546-2271 or www.kigginstheatre.com

Second Ave., Portland; $10 to $20. Enjoy Irish beer and cider from the Northwest. Listen to tunes from Irish bagpipers, watch Irish dancers or gather wisdom from a fortune teller.
