When allegations surfaced that President Bill Clinton had an extra-marital affair with an intern, Republicans shrieked and, in unison, jumped on the impeachment bandwagon, despite the fact that several of those representatives were engaged in similar discretions themselves. Now that there is evidence that our Republican president had an extramarital affair with an adult film actress, they are curiously silent. Apparently Republicans’ “moral outrage” is conditional, based on whether or not it helps them politically. Interesting, isn’t it?
