Those who want to begin composting at home will have the opportunity to learn how begin at an upcoming workshop.
Columbia Springs will host a Composting 101 workshop from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. April 7 at Columbia Springs Swift Classroom, 12208 SE Evergreen Hwy., Vancouver. The cost is $5 per person.
The class will teach people how to improve their backyard soil health, understand the science of composting and see a composting site in action.
