Letter: Comparison doesn’t hold up

The writer of the letter “Conditional outrage by GOP” (March 23, Our Readers’ Views) seeks to compare President Bill Clinton’s sexual antics with those of President Donald Trump. I would point out a few differences.

First of all, Trump’s transgressions were committed before he became president. Secondly, unlike Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones, and Kathleen Willey, by her own admission, Stormy Daniels did not say “no.”

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
