Letter: Support your local community

When Battle Ground Public Schools puts bonds up for a vote, they often fail. One reason might be that a fair number of families in north Clark County might not use the public schools; they may go to private schools, or may be home-schooled.

Even though they may not use the public school system, when living in the district there is the responsibly to assist and maintain all government systems that they may benefit from. This is in no way a negative remark, just a thought.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
