BEAVERTON, Ore. — A Vancouver man was sentenced Monday to 30 months in prison for luring a minor and first-degree attempted rape.
Wade Joseph Jacques pleaded guilty to both charges.
He must also register as a sex offender.
Beaverton police say Jacques traveled to Beaverton to try to engage in sexual activity with two children ages 11 and 14. Police said he had been communicating with undercover officers for about a month.
He was originally arrested on two counts of online sex corruption of a minor and one count of luring a minor.
