Last week my health insurance plan gave me five visits to my longtime therapist/support person. This week they took those visits away. They sent me a list of therapists I could see instead. I called six of them. None were taking new patients. It takes months to develop a therapeutic relationship and not all therapists are the same. Health care? I don’t think so.
