School board approves hiring of new principals

Ridgefield — Jill Neyenhouse will become principal of South Ridge Elementary School in the next school year. She is taking over for Todd Graves, who will be the first principal at the new Sunset Ridge Intermediate School opening this fall.

Neyenhouse is currently the assistant director of Cascadia Technical Academy in Evergreen Public Schools. Neyenhouse started her career teaching English and choir at Stevenson High School; she will start at South Ridge on July 1.

The hire was approved by the school board this week.
