Blue skies and sunshine drew local residents to the water’s edge Monday at Wintler Park.

The sunglasses and sandals weather was perfect for Jamie Neiderhauser of Vancouver to relax in amid sun and the sand during a day off at the park. It was Neiderhauser’s first visit to the popular spot along the Columbia River, and she was one of many local residents enjoying the unusually warm weather.

The forecast calls for slightly cooler weather the rest of the week, with mixed clouds and a slight chance of showers Tuesday night and Wednesday.
