Letter: Support Long for Congress

By Elizabeth Madrigal, Ridgefield
Published: May 30, 2018, 6:00am

I am publicly endorsing Carolyn Long, a Washington State University Vancouver constitutional law professor of 22 years, as my representative in the 3rd Congressional District. Long is honorable, intelligent, caring, patriotic, civil and decent. By contrast, the incumbent won’t have an in-person town hall and refuses to face the people whose welfare she has undermined with a 92 percent-plus record of voting with President Trump.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
