Keizer offers drinking water to neighbors after advisory

SALEM, Ore. — The city of Keizer is offering to share its drinking water with Salem-area residents who’ve been warned by officials to avoid consuming their tap water because of the discovery of low levels of algae toxin.

The Oregonian/OregonLive reports three water stations with 24-hour access have been opened at Keizer City Hall in a parking lot.
