Clark College hosts Medicare session

Clark College’s Economic and Community Development office will host a free “Welcome to Medicare” session from 10 to 11:50 a.m. Saturday.

The class is at the Columbia Tech Center Campus, Room 144, at 18700 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver.

The class will cover options for Medicare parts A, B, C and D, advantage plans versus supplement plans, and prescription drug coverage.

Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors from the Office of the Insurance Commissioner will teach the class.

The session will also feature a lesson on how to identify and protect yourself from Medicare fraud.

Preregister by contacting Clark College Mature Learning 360-992-2939, or online at ecd.clark.edu. The course is free but participants are asked to preregister to ensure enough material is available for everyone.
