A fast-growing Colorado ski resort company has closed on the purchase of a resort in Washington.

The Denver Post reported Denver-based Alterra Mountain Co. announced Monday that it had acquired Crystal Mountain Resort, a 2,600-acre property about 80 miles southeast of Seattle.

The company did not disclose the terms of the deal.

The resort is in the northeast edge of Mount Rainier National Park and features 10 lifts, 57 runs and several lodging properties.

The company now owns 14 resorts in the U.S. and Canada.
