Letter: Re-elect Herrera Beutler

By Ross Hollister, Vancouver

Business, not government, produces the jobs, tax base, and products needed to provide governmental services. Carolyn Long promotes more taxes and services while being critical of the very businesses that create the needed jobs and taxes to pay for those services. Ask Long, “If not business, who will do this?”

Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, with eight years of experience and seniority, has consistently supported economic growth, job creation, and lower taxes. Today, historic rates of employment exist. Thus, wages, Social Security, and general fund revenues will increase.

Support a strong economy. Re-elect Herrera Beutler, who has “served admirably” in Congress.
