Non-league football: Woodland 47, Montesano 13

Senior Tyler Flanagan threw for 302 yards, rushed for 237 and accounted for six of Woodland’s seven touchdowns in a nonleague road victory Friday over the 1A Bulldogs.

Flanagan had touchdown runs of 7, 1, 6, 42 and 1 and also threw a 75-yard touchdown pass to Christian Yager, as the Beavers built a 40-13 lead. Reid Hope’s 92-yard fourth-quarter touchdown run was the Beavers’ final touchdown.

Woodland (5-1 overall) amassed 731 total yards. Flanagan finished 14 of 24 passing and rushed 34 times.
