Letter: Elect true representatives

By Barbara Ramsey, Vancouver
Published: October 11, 2018, 6:00am

Again! Our feckless senators have embarrassed our state by blindly voting their party line rather than using logic and reason, as did Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine. Were they not listening? Were they even there? Collins methodically and succinctly outlined and refuted all of the concerns against Judge Brett Kavanaugh. Yet that information was ignored and instead the left-wing talking points were repeated, over and over.

It’s time we elect leaders who represent our constituency. Be brave. Be bold. Vote Republican!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
