When I watched Democrats support Christine Blasey Ford’s 36-year-old accusation against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, I think of President Clinton’s political strategist James Carville. When Paula Jones accused Clinton of sexually harassing her, Carville responded with “Drag a $100 bill through a trailer camp and there’s no telling what you will find.”
I do not recall any Democrats condemning Carville or talking about supporting or believing women then. How sad that, in this day and age, women face the fact that if you have a legitimate harassment complaint, and it is against a politician, a political party’s agenda outweighs seeking the truth.
