Letter: Supporting Tanisha Harris

By Deb Avery, Vancouver
Published: October 13, 2018, 6:00am

I am voting for Tanisha Harris for our state Legislature. Harris is a lifelong Vancouver resident who has consistently advocated for children and youth. Harris supports Breakfast After the Bell, affordable and quality child care and education. For 10 years, Harris promoted diversity in education in Evergreen Public Schools and currently advocates for children in our legal system.

Harris has received multiple leadership awards in our community and continues to use these skills in her day-to-day life.

A vote for Tanisha Harris will be a good thing for our state.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
