BINGEN — An Australia-based drone tech provider has announced an expansion of its existing long-term agreement with Boeing subsidiary Insitu that could be worth $120 million to $350 million over the next five years.

The provider, Orbital Corp., has an office in Hood River, according to the company website. Bingen-based Insitu also has an office in Hood River as well as a facility in Queensland, Australia, its website says.

Orbital provides integrated propulsion systems and flight critical components for tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, such as those that Insitu produces, the Australian financial publication Small Caps reported.

The agreement builds on Orbital’s existing partnership with Insitu and increases the scope, scale and term of work outlined in the original agreement, signed in December 2016.
