Letter: Support environment, I-1631

We all have to live in the environment. That’s why passing Initiative 1631 is so important. If you’re an undecided voter or are opposed, consider: the environment and the climate are changing. Scientists who’ve done the research and know what’s coming if we don’t start using cleaner energy and stop pumping carbon dioxide into our air understand that by 2040, living on earth will be much more difficult.

What polluters are telling you in TV ads opposing I-1631 is misleading and isn’t everything you should know. Google I-1631 and get “the rest of the story.”

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
