1A Trico League football: Stevenson 48, King’s Way Christian 7

STEVENSON — Lincoln Krog rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns and caught another as the Bulldogs remained atop the Trico League.

Brandon Connell threw for four touchdowns, including a 74-yard pass to Isaac Hoidal on the game’s third play.

Krog only needed eight carries to surpass 200 yards. After his first two rushing attempts combined for two yards, he averaged nearly 35 yards per carry over his final eight attempts.

King’s Way trailed 28-0 in the second quarter when they briefly found their footing. Kemper Shrock threw a 56-yard touchdown to Brady Metz.

The Bulldogs had four separate scoring drives of four plays or less, each for at least 40 yards downfield.
