Women’s Leadership Center is offering a three-part financial management workshop that begins Monday at YWCA Clark County, 3609 Main St., Vancouver.

Attendees will gain increased knowledge in finance, debt and credit management, design personal and household budgets utilizing checking and saving accounts, and better understand insurance and taxes. Attendees will ultimately work towards an increased foundational understanding for making informed decisions leading to financial independence.

“While financial advice for women isn’t all that different than that of men’s, it is essential that it addresses the current gender disparities within finances. This all contributes to women’s financial stability and opportunities,” says a news release announcing the workshop.

Certified Financial Planner Jennifer Rhoads will facilitate the workshop, to be held 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays through Nov. 5. Registration is $80 and available at ywcaclarkcounty.org/wlc. For questions, contact Cheyanne Llanos Bare at cllanosbare@ywcaclarkcounty.org or 360-906-9157.
