Letter: FDA works against the public

I believe that both parties are failing the taxpayers.

That covers a lot of territory but, for now, I will focus on medical availability and care. Anyone who thinks the Food and Drug Administration is looking out for your best interest is living under a rock. It is profit before people, no matter how many people die.

A banker speaking at an investors’ meeting actually came out and said “curing people is not a good business model.” Many countries have far superior treatments for cancer, yet, unless you’re rich and can fly there, you are commanded to stay here for the slash, burn or poison for the benefit of CEOs and shareholders. People, wake up and start demanding better for our tax dollars. We all need to bang our cups loud and clear. With the billions of taxpayer dollars being spent researching for cures at universities, etc., being sold back to you at unsustainable prices is criminal.

China is researching herbs; we should be, too.
