Letter: Choose Holt for county chair

By Rusty Hoyle, Vancouver
Published: October 26, 2018, 6:00am

This is why I like Eric Holt and will be voting for him. His No. 1 focus is on the people. His opponent has said, “I would want to get along with people, but sometimes you have to remain strong in your viewpoints and sometimes you stand alone.” We want the vision of the people, not special interests. Holt is not a special-interest person. Knowing him personally, I don’t ever see him becoming special interest, unless it’s the interest of the residents of Clark County. Eric Holt has my vote!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
