Tacoma man brought back to US to face child rape charges

TACOMA — U.S. authorities say a Tacoma man who fled the country four years ago has been brought back to Pierce County to face charges he raped a child.

The U.S. Marshals Service says 38-year-old Guadalupe R. Leiva, who had been on the run since 2014, was arrested in late December outside Santa Ana, Guatemala.
