Letter: You have responsibility to vote

By Pat Roe, Vancouver

Have you voted yet? We are reaching the end of another contentious election season and now it is up to us — we need to make our voices heard. It doesn’t matter whether you believe in the blue wave or the red tsunami, it is your right — no, make that your responsibility — to mark and return that ballot. Along with your ballot, you received a Voter’s Pamphlet to help you understand your options. It only takes a few minutes to vote on candidates and initiatives that will impact local and national leadership. This election matters, your opinions matter, do it today.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
