Workers in Vancouver traverse the fourth-shortest commute in the state, according to an analysis of census data from HomeArea.com released Tuesday.

Using information from the 2016 American Community Survey for all cities in Washington with a population higher than 60,000, the study found that Vancouver’s commuters spend an average of 26.7 minutes getting to their workplace.

Of the 10 cities on the list, Vancouver saw the most drastic increase from the prior year, when commuters averaged 24.4 minutes — a 9.8 percent jump in travel time.
