Battle Ground — The intersection of Southeast Rasmussen Boulevard and Southeast Grace Avenue will transition from a two-way stop to an all-way stop intersection with the installation of stop signs and painted stop bars on both the north and southbound lanes of Grace Avenue. The all-way stop will facilitate east and westbound traffic and pedestrians entering the intersection. Both residential and commercial growth has resulted in an increase of traffic in the area, with volumes high enough to warrant and require an all-way stop by the Federal Highway Administration’s Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, according to a release from the city. The change is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
