Letter: A boorish, childish megalomaniac

In so many ways the Trump presidency just blows my mind. President Trump’s behavior toward people he dislikes, his behavior in response to criticism, his lack of ability to speak the truth, his inability to clearly express a rational thought and his obvious racist and misogynist views are just are few of the issues that make his being in the highest office in the land hard to understand.

The only consolation I have is that he will be voted out of office in 2020. I base that prediction on the fact that the people who failed to vote in 2016, because they felt that Hillary Clinton would be elected without their vote, will be at the polls to prevent this disaster from continuing for another four years. Until then we will have to tolerate the boorish and childish behavior of this petulant megalomaniac. Clearly a sad situation — so sad.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
