The host Grizzlies kept La Center scoreless in the second and third quarters on their way to handing the Wildcats their third loss.
After Hoquiam’s initial scoring drive, La Center followed up with a 40-yard touchdown pass from Tom Lambert to Irving Alvarez to pull within 7-6 with 5:23 left in the first quarter.
Hoquiam’s largest lead was 40-6 before Lambert’s touchdown pass to Nic Budke in the fourth quarter.
