I flew my flag on the Fourth of July this year. I was surprised when some of my friends and neighbors jokingly said to me that they did not know I was a Republican. This got me thinking — the Democrats are the new patriots. It is up to us to defend this country from its enemies, foreign and domestic. It is up to us to defend our Constitution. It is up to us to protect our democracy.
I encourage all Democrats to proudly put up their flag on their porch and fly it until the November election. Let’s show this country that we are the true patriots and protectors of our country.
