Letter: Teachers earn our support

I think that teachers are some of the hardest working, and most fantastic people. Before judging what they do, or do not do, spend a month or week shadowing an elementary teacher. If after spending time with them you can’t see they more than deserve the pay they get, you are blind. I have volunteered at a Vancouver elementary school and have seen, firsthand, the highs and lows they go through. After nine-plus years of volunteering I support every teacher in every system. Take just a day at an elementary school and see what teachers do and put up with. I am fully supportive of all teachers.
